 Tea tree oil has been used medicinally for hundreds of years. The aboriginal people of Australia used it to clean wounds and treat infections.  Today, tea tree oil is a common ingredient in shampoos and soaps mainly due to its proven antimicrobial properties.  

 Many studies have shown that tea tree oil effectively fights many types of bacteria, viruses, and fungi.  The skin on your scalp is particularly sensitive, which leaves it vulnerable to skin conditions. Minor fungal infections are often responsible for itchiness and dandruff. As an antifungal agent, tea tree oil may help effectively manage these conditions. Tea tree oil may also help sooth inflammation caused by scratching and psoriasis.

*Never apply pure tea tree oil to your scalp without diluting it first. Instead, mix it with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil. 

Aloe vera is soothing, calming and healing.  Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.

Can be used externally on the skin for minor eczema, bug bites, and minor irritation.
